The 76th Annual Convention is Heating Up!
For the first time since 1989, the National Convention will be held outside of a chapter city, as we look forward to seeing you in Atlanta this year!  Our steward, Michael Blackstock, along with Past National President Derrick "Fugi" Cabrera, are putting together an exciting program that has a little bit of everything for everyone.  This indeed promises to be a unique experience!  For more information, be sure to check out the Convention site, as it will be updated regularly once details are finalized.  You can also e-mail the Convention steward here.

Laetare Sunday: March 18th
This year, Laetare Sunday will occur on March 18th, right after St. Patrick's Day.  As always, this is a time for us to reflect upon our friends and brothers who are no longer with us.  Please keep this sacred day to Alpha Delta Gamma in your minds and hearts.  Be sure to check with your chapter for more information on their particular schedule of events.

ADG Solutions: This is Your Fraternity
As a reminder to those who attended Spring Conference on February 11th, and for those of you who could not attend, we have revisited the ADG Solutions discussion from last year's National Convention.  We have given out the topics that many feel are vital to this fraternity.  You are encouraged to discuss these items at length amongst yourselves and your chapter, then bring your ideas and amendments to the National Convention this year in Atlanta.  For more information on this initiative, or if you did not receive the documentation, contact the National Council.

Message from the Council

Brothers,

I could start off by spouting about the information super-highway, but I think the time for that allegory is well over and done.  Instead, let me say that I feel this newsletter has been a long time coming and I am personally glad to finally be able to bring it to you, my brothers.

Whether active or alumni, East Coast or West Coast, we are all reading this because of our mutual heritage, that of supreme brotherhood and fraternity towards each other and our fellow man.  That being said, I encourage - rather, urge you to share this with your fellow actives and alumni.  No matter how far removed we might be from graduation, or from another chapter, we are united under a common banner; this is our fraternity and everyone in it, our brother.

Please feel free to submit any stories, share any successes, or post any announcements to this newsletter.  We will do our best to see that we touch on as many items as we can.  It is my pleasure to launch this inaugural edition of the Red Carnation e-Newsletter, the Official Active Newsletter of Alpha Delta Gamma National Fraternity!

Sincerely and Fraternally,

Arthur N. Taylor,
National Executive Vice President
