Georgia on My Mind...
For the first time since 1989, the National
Convention will be held outside of a chapter city, as we look forward to
seeing you in Atlanta this year! Our steward,
Michael Blackstock, along
with Past National President
Derrick "Fugi" Cabrera,
are putting together an exciting program that has a little bit of
everything for everyone. This indeed promises to be a unique
experience! For more information, be sure to check out the
Convention site, as it
will be updated regularly once details are finalized. You will
also find a link for the
new Atlanta Convention home page!
Lenten Message from the Moderator
Laetare Sunday has come and gone, but Lent is
not over yet. Would you be shocked to hear a Franciscan saying
that he hates Lent? And what do brussel sprouts have to do with
all of this? In case you missed Brother Nick's Lenten message, be
sure to
read it all here
(Word document).
Spring Reports Due May 15
It might be early, but have you begun your Spring Semester Chapter
Report? Some chapters keep theirs updated all semester long.
Some chapters wait until the last minute before turning theirs in.
Some chapters might not have turned in their Fall report yet! Now
that the Chapter Information Packets have gone out, there should be no
reason not to know the deal with these vital reports. If you would
like any assistance at all in completing this document, please contact
your Chapter Governor, or the
National Council, and
we will be happy to assist you! (It helps determine our insurance
premiums, and also makes your chapter eligible for Chapter Awards at
Convention!)
ADG Solutions: This is
Your Fraternity
As a reminder to those who attended Spring
Conference on February 11th, and for those of you who could not attend,
we have revisited the ADG Solutions discussion from last year's National
Convention. We have given out the topics that many feel are vital
to this fraternity. You are encouraged to discuss these items at
length amongst yourselves and your chapter, then bring your ideas and
amendments to the National Convention this year in Atlanta. For
more information on this initiative, or if you did not receive the
documentation, contact the
National Council.
