The National Student Representative serves as the vital connection between undergraduate members and the National Executive Council. This elected undergraduate position represents the interests, concerns, and innovative spirit of active chapters while helping shape the fraternity's future direction. Terms run for One academic year voted on at each National Convention.
Key Responsibilities:
As the primary advocate for active members, the National Student Representative:
Champions Student Perspectives by bringing undergraduate viewpoints to all National Council discussions and decisions
Facilitates Chapter Communication through regular check-ins with chapter presidents and active members
Shares Best Practices by collecting and distributing successful programming ideas from across all chapters
Maintains Vital Records including the active chapter roster and officer contact information
Supports National Initiatives by assisting with Universal ADG Night, the National Sweetheart program, and other fraternity-wide events
Leadership Impact:
This representative ensures the active member experience remains at the heart of ADG by:
Bridging the gap between undergraduate needs and national operations
Identifying trends and opportunities to strengthen chapter life
Preserving traditions while encouraging innovation
Fostering connections between chapters to build a unified brotherhood
