The Vice President of Finance serves as the chief financial officer of Alpha Delta Gamma, entrusted with safeguarding our fraternity's fiscal health and ensuring responsible stewardship of our collective resources. This critical leadership position oversees all financial operations while maintaining transparency across our chapters and national organization.

The Vice President of Finance is a Two-Year Term nominated and voted on at national convention during a voting year. The next voting year will be 2026.

• In the event of a vacancy in any officer position, the President, with the recommendations of the Executive Vice President, shall have the power to appoint a replacement to serve for the remainder of the unexpired term.

Core Responsibilities:

As the elected guardian of ADG's financial integrity, the Vice President:

• Directs Financial Strategy by developing, implementing, and overseeing the national budget in alignment with fraternal priorities

• Maintains Fiscal Accountability through semi-annual financial reports to chapters and Executive Council, including:

  • Comprehensive balance sheets

  • Revenue and expense statements

  • Accounts payable analyses

  • Budget performance evaluations

• Enforces Financial Policies by operating within approved budgets and justifying any variances exceeding 10%

• Chairs the Finance Committee, guiding strategic financial decisions that impact our entire brotherhood

Operational Leadership:

The Vice President ensures smooth financial operations by:

• Coordinating chapter travel budgets prior to National Convention

• Authorizing expenditures through dual signatures (with the National President) on all fraternity checks

• Managing accounts receivable, including collection of chapter dues, fees, and financial obligations

• Serving as an ex-officio member of all finance-related committees
