In a powerful display of dedication and leadership, Executive Director Travis Hogue-Smith spent the entire month of April on the ground in Miami, Florida, spearheading Alpha Delta Gamma’s expansion efforts to reestablish our Psi Chapter at Barry University. After four years of dormancy, the chapter has been officially revived—and it’s all thanks to an unrelenting belief in the mission of our brotherhood and the commitment to shaping the next generation of leaders.
Travis, a long-standing pillar in the fraternity’s national leadership, made it his personal mission to reignite the flame of Psi. From hosting interest meetings and campus outreach sessions to engaging with university administrators and guiding prospective members through the fraternal process, Travis embodied what it means to lead by example.
The result? A groundbreaking success: nine new brothers were recruited, initiated, and welcomed into the lifelong bond of Alpha Delta Gamma—marking the largest new member class the chapter has seen in over four years. The Psi Chapter’s reactivation is not only a testament to the power of persistence and presence, but a celebration of what happens when we return to our roots: personal connection, intentional mentorship, and a passion for brotherhood.
“This wasn’t just about numbers—it was about rebuilding culture,” Travis shared. “These men aren’t just new members; they’re pioneers of Psi’s rebirth and the foundation of its future.”
With this new class leading the way, Psi Chapter is poised to thrive once again—bringing with it the values, service, and spirit that define Alpha Delta Gamma. The success of this expansion reminds us that even after dormancy, with the right leadership and heart, rebirth is always possible.
Welcome back, Psi Chapter—your story continues!
